We build the MCP server for your software
MCP is the standard AI agents use to operate software: Claude, ChatGPT and compatible platforms. A well-built MCP server turns your product into something AI can work in, with permissions and an audit trail. We develop it custom, in weeks, on top of your current API, or we create the API first if there is none.
In short: An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server is what lets AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT and compatible platforms) actually use your software: query data, create records and run actions under defined permissions. MCP is the open standard Anthropic published in 2024, now adopted across the industry as the 'USB port for agents'. EBROTECH develops custom MCP servers on top of your existing API, and if your software has no API, we build that first. We run our own every day: our reference connector exposes 570 endpoints through MCP and CLI.
What does your software gain with an MCP server?
- Your users work by voice or chat. "Book Tuesday 10am with Maria" and the agent does it inside your software. No menus, no training.
- One integration that serves the whole ecosystem. A single MCP server instead of a separate build for every assistant, CRM or platform that asks.
- A sales and retention argument. "Works with AI agents" already shows up in comparison checklists. The leading US dental software opened its MCP layer in 2026: your vertical is next.
- Visibility with the agents themselves. Agents recommend tools they can use. An MCP server listed in the right registries is distribution, not just technology.
The proof: we operate our own daily
Our reference connector exposes 570 endpoints of a CRM through API + CLI + MCP server, and our own agents work through it every day: contacts, bookings, invoicing, campaigns. We will not install anything we would not run ourselves. This website also publishes its own agent-readable layer (llms.txt · /api/catalog.json).
How do we build your MCP server? The 3 steps
- 1
Audit: what an agent should be able to do in your software
Together we define the operations an agent should perform (read customers, book, invoice) and the ones it must NEVER touch. We review your current API or, if there is none, the real surface of your data: database, exports, backend.
- 2
Build the MCP server (and the API, if missing)
We build the MCP server with its tools, permissions and audit trail. If your software has no API, we first create the access layer on top of what you already have. We never rewrite your product: the layer connects on top.
- 3
Test with real agents, document, register
We test the server with Claude and ChatGPT on your real use cases, deliver developer and user documentation, and register the MCP server in the directories where agents and their owners look for tools.
No API in your software? Not a blocker, it is our favourite case: we first create the access layer over your database or your official export formats, then the MCP server on top. Software vendor? Here is how we work with vendors, NDA and white-label included.
Frequently asked questions about MCP servers
What is an MCP server?
A program that exposes your software as 'tools' an AI agent can use: each tool is a concrete action (find a customer, create a booking, issue an invoice) with its own permissions. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard created by Anthropic in 2024 and now supported by the main agent platforms. Without MCP, AI can only talk about your software; with MCP, it can work in it.
Does MCP work with ChatGPT or only with Claude?
Both, and more. MCP was born in Anthropic's ecosystem (Claude), but OpenAI and the major agent platforms have adopted it. That is precisely its value: you build ONE MCP server and it serves the whole ecosystem, instead of a separate integration for every assistant.
Do we need an API before we can have an MCP server?
No. If your software already has an API, the MCP server sits on top and that is the fast path. If it does not, we first build the access layer over your database, your official export formats or your backend, then the MCP server on top. More work, but exactly our speciality: management software without a public API.
How long does MCP server development take?
With a documented API in place, a useful first version ships within a few weeks. If the API has to be created first, somewhat longer. The initial audit gives you a concrete scope and date before you decide anything. What we do not do is year-long projects to expose four operations.
What about security and permissions?
The MCP server defines exactly what the agent can and cannot do: read and write operations separated, sensitive actions behind human approval, and a log of everything the agent touches. The AI does not roam free in your software: it enters through the door you define, with the key you hand out.
When do we NOT need an MCP server?
If nobody will connect agents to your software in the near term and you only need internal automations, an API or CLI may be enough. And if what you want is AI on top of third-party software you use (not software you own), see our legacy software + AI service: no official MCP needed there.
Shall we build your software's MCP server?
Tell us what your software is and what an agent should be able to do in it. You get scope, timeline and an honest cost range after the audit, no strings attached.
